Many of us on this forum have most likely bought an old Blocket tabletop at some point with the ambition to do so
‘make something fun of it’.
At the moment there is such a plate on our balcony and
looks at me every time I pass by.
But this morning, as I was scrolling through Instagram, unexpected possibilities suddenly opened up!
My ambitious friend and former studio colleague Cristian pu Temporary has, among a hundred other projects, a trademark called CONTEM.
They just launched a product called “A. Leg”
This concept has probably existed before in other variations, but I really think so
The solution is brilliant.
A simple, stylish and affordable way to create a coffee table, provided you already have a top.
I vote yes and will definitely see if we can copy-paste this!

A. Leg is an adjustable foot made entirely of wood,
without metal components.
It is intended for use with table tops 20-30mm thick and the product is available individually or in packs of three or four.
Contem also offers a selection of stone tops, including both vintage and locally sourced Swedish stones.
The furniture is handmade and produced in Stockholm, using material from elm trees felled due to disease, and each piece comes with coordinates indicating its origin.
