Hello, how nice to be here again at TWWP. This time without Nathaliewhich feels a bit empty <3 But she will most likely show up here in some form in the future. I look forward to continuing to share things that inspire me, music I've listened to, books I've read, films and series I've seen, saved photos from Instagram and Pinterest interspersed with travel, daily life and personal thoughts. For those of you new here, here is a quick presentation.

For 10 years now I have been living on a car-free island in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg with my husband and two daughters aged 10 and 18 (!) years old. It was a gamble we took when we bought our first house and moved here, or perhaps more of a fixed idea about living on an island and a desire to live closer to nature. Sometimes I miss the simplicity of the city, being able to walk and cycle everywhere, not needing a boat to get home. But I wouldn’t want to change back. I love the contrasts – the peace, the silence, the smells and at the same time having the city within reach.

I was born and raised in Dalarna, but moved home to London straight after graduating in the late 1990s, like many others at the time. There I worked as a dog au pair for a family in Hackney, a time that left a big impression on me. I bounced between London, Norway and Stockholm for a few years before finally landing on the west coast.

8 years ago I took the plunge and quit a permanent job and started my own company. Looking back, I don’t understand how I dared to do that, but I’m glad I have that page. Nowadays I work as a freelancer as a stylist and maker. One of the nicest things I know is being able to work visually: developing an idea, a feeling in an environment or highlighting a product. One of the nicest jobs of last year was for MASK together with Alice Johansonwho took all the photos above. Here you can read and see more about this great brand.

I think I’ll start like this. Glad you found your way here, see you soon!
