Sharing is caring!
The year I came back – slowly, deliberately, and with a whole new perspective on what wellness actually feels like.
After a five-month hiatus without consistent content, 2025 wasn’t about pumping out posts just to stay “visible.”
It was about the depth. Alignment. Sharing from a place of grounded experiences, not noise.
And honestly? It felt good, like reconnecting with an old friend who always knew exactly what you meant.
What hasn’t changed is the heart of it A brave girl: simple, straightforward, lived-in wellness for high-achieving, list-loving women who just want to feel normal again.
Below is everything we explored together this year: the routines, the experiments, the skincare shifts, the nutritional foundations, and the tools that actually moved the needle.

What we talked about most in 2025
This year, four themes emerged – not because I planned them, but because they were simply true to my life and healing at that moment.
1]Lifestyle + personal wellness rituals
This was the year sleep came into the spotlight.
Nighttime routines, magnesium testing, Oura Ring data – everything.
I wrote about:
The through line?
Lifestyle is not extra credit. It is fundamental to the healing of the intestines. Always.
2]Skin health + natural beauty
Another important shift: skin care became a wellness conversation.
I have recorded:
I even have one complete guide to finding the hormone disruptors in your bathroom.
This wasn’t “beauty blogging.” God knows I’m FAR from a beauty blogger.
This was the skin as a reflection of internal health.
A concept that you deeply resonated with.
3]Wellness tools + Biohacking for women
You saw me experimenting – not from a laboratory, but from my real life.
2025 tools included:
- Lumebox red light therapy (my hormones and mood said thank you)
- Magnesium-based sleep support
- Structured self-tracking via Oura Ring
My philosophy here remained the same: Use → test → collect data → reflect → share.
Because women deserve clarity, not hype.
4]Basic education about intestinal health
Even when it comes to sleep, skin care or hormones, everything was anchored back to gut health.
The highlight here was mine Food as medicine diet post – a reminder that nutrition remains the backbone of how we heal, recover and thrive.
Important themes that emerged in 2025
Holistic healing is the new gut healing
This year, gut health was not in its own category.
Instead, it naturally flowed into conversations about:
- Sleep quality
- Stress response
- Hormone balance
- Clarity of the skin
- Daily rituals
Because the truth is: your intestines never heal on their own.
Personal experiments = authority
Your feedback made it clear: the posts based on lived experiences were your favorites.
This creates trust – the tone of ‘experienced friend who also knows the science’ that AGG defines.
What if I test something for three nights and share my Oura data? You feel it.
When I write about why I finally added red light therapy after years of skepticism? You trust it.
Because I REALLY use the products as your guinea pig first.
Simple, actionable education
You’re busy.
You want lists, clarity and steps – not noise.
I wanted to honor this.
Reconnection with the community
The “I’m back‘ post in April marked a reset.
It was a moment where I invited you into this new season with me.
And you showed up.
You always do that.
How the A brave girl Brand voice evolved in 2025
This year, the AGG voice amplified into its most confident, grounded form yet:
Warm, empathetic expertise – the mix of lived experience + science that makes you feel safe.
List-driven education — built for skimmers, moms and multitaskers.
More stories – especially in case of product and tool malfunctions. You don’t just want to know that What work. You want to know Why I have chosen, How I’ve used it, and what actually happened.
A clear problem-solution framework – because you want structure. You crave “just tell me what to do.”
This evolution reflects what the AGG positioning should deliver:
A woman who once felt confused, limited and symptomatic… became confident, nourished and in control.
What the AGG community cared about most this year
Based on your comments, posts and traffic patterns, 2025 has revealed your top interests:
✔ Sleep optimization
✔ Skin care that really works
✔ Non-extreme approaches to healing
✔ Tools that simplify life
✔ Realistic steps you can take Today
✔ Gut health as part of whole body well-being
And your internal dialogue?
Still beautifully human:
“Why am I so bloated around noon?”
“What can I safely eat today?”
“Where is the checklist?!”
I hear you.
I was you + I am you.
The bigger story of 2025
If I may summarize it in one line:
2025 was the year of coming home – to myself, to this community and to the purpose behind it A brave girl.
I was reminded that THIS website, this place, is NOT for bombarded with advertisements (yes, I cut them this year!) or orphans like everyone else out there.
It was a year of:
- Reconnect
- Curiosity
- Experiment
- Simplify
- Integration of all components of well-being
The blog went beyond gut-only topics in the most natural, life-appropriate way possible – because true healing is always bigger than one system.
…..but the truth
As I look back on the past year at AGG, I can’t help but think of a truth that hits me dead in the face every month:
With my MAIN privilege to give, to give, to give and to teach, to teach, to teach, How I do too take care of it that I am financially able to keep the website running?
You didn’t want any more intrusive ads… so I removed them. But the truth is, those ads paid for one enormous part of the costs necessary to cover the monthly activities for the website.
I remain fully grounded in my belief to always give more than I receive, but (as everyone should), I still ask myself, “…to what extent?”
And this is WHY when you purchase any of my courses, e-books, books, supplements or anything from my partners, you are directly contributing to the longevity of this work.
ps i even have the Fast intestinal detox down to just $49 for 2026 >
AGG: Courses, Books, Supplements, Partners
Looking ahead to 2026
This is where we’ll go next time…
Actually not 100% sure.
I’d like to lay this all out for you in my Type-A format.
But I don’t.
And that’s because this website has also returned more directly to what’s happening, what I’m trying, learning and hearing from you.
I shall I’m telling you that I plan to:
- More integrated well-being: gut + hormones + skin + emotional well-being
- Continued personal experiments
I keep being reminded that 2025 was a Snake Year.
It was year 9 of it…..complete with loss, completion and final chapters. And oh my god, do I FEEL this deep in my soul. [Side note 1: I am TERRIFIED of Snakes. Side note 2: I didn’t even know all of the above with reference to the Snake and shedding until about a week ago.]
2026 feels stable. Extensive. Rooted.
[And Side note 3: 2026 is Horse Year – momentum, direction, and destiny.]
Closing reflection
Thanks for being here – whether you’ve been reading for ten years or found AGG last week.
This community is woven from courage, curiosity and a shared desire for a life that feels good again.
A life that you don’t have to plan around the symptoms.
Here’s to the year we’ve just lived, the small victories we’ve had, and the deeper healing that still lies ahead.
If you want to stay up to date with 2026 content, make sure you’re on the email list; that’s where the real conversations take place.
