The German tactician has done an impressive job with England so far. He won nine and lost only one of the ten games he was in charge.
Tuchel, a Champions League winner from his time at Chelsea, appears to be the ideal upgrade England needed after Gareth Southgate. Times report positive news for Three Lions supporters.
They say Tuchel now appears ready to sign a new contract with England until 2028, which could be a blow to Manchester United and other big clubs.

Tuchel has an impressive CV in his career as a manager, so it is not surprising that he has been linked with the Man United job in recent times.

Carrick has done an impressive job in his short time in charge, but MUFC will certainly want someone with more experience to come in.
Tuchel could have been ideal after doing such a strong job at big clubs such as Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as in England.
However, it appears this will not be possible now, so United will have to look elsewhere if they decide not to keep Carrick on a permanent basis.
Can Tuchel guide England to World Cup glory?
In some ways it is surprising that England are not waiting to see how Tuchel does at the World Cup before making this decision.
England have reached the finals of Euro 2020 and 2024, so there will be a lot of pressure on Tuchel to take the team one step further and finally lift a trophy.
It won’t be easy though, so even if Tuchel has done well so far, it seems a bit premature to reward him with a new deal before seeing how he fares at a major tournament.
