The regular season of 2025 PGA Tour came this week at the Wyndham Championship in Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The four days in Greensboro offer a look at the other side of Tour Life as a Pros Scratch and Claw to get into the top 70 to make the FedEx Cup -Play -offs. Even those who are outside the top 70 try to earn as many points as possible to bring themselves in a good position to stay in the top 100 after the fall scheme. This year the PGA Tour cuts the number of fully exempt members at 125 to 100, which means that there is a reduction in membership of 20 percent. Although that has no influence on players such as Max Homa, who is currently outside the top 100, but is exempt until 2028, it will make things harder for boys like Joel Dahmen, who ended last fall to retain his fully exempt status.
While players this week for the position in the rankings, the race for the Wyndham Championship title was a bit a snoozer when Cameron Young came to a lead of three shots after the second round and stretched the margin until five that Sunday came in.
Young’s lead grew until nine when he made it, and he drove to his first career victory on the PGA Tour and collected a check of $ 1,476 million winner in the process.
Below is a breakdown of what everyone in the field has earned this week in Greensboro.
