“We are very pleased to launch the first ball that delivers really superior performance in wet conditions,” said Adam Rehberg, Sr. Marketing manager product for Bridgestone Golf. “The RPL-X-Coating on the new E12 Splash is the result of years of dedicated development and again represents a groundbreaking production innovation of Bridgestone’s Technical team of World Class. For golfers playing in wet or muddy circumstances, the E12 Splash is a game-shanger in the field of performance.”
The new E12 Splash is equipped with a soft core with low compression combined with a sidecar-reducing cloak for a judicial flight, together with Bridgestone’s unique Contact Force Dimple pattern that maximizes energy transfer when Impact. The addition of the innovative RPL-X Hydrophobic Coating further lifts performance and promotes optimum launch and spider in wet conditions. The result is one of the longest and right golf balls that are available, designed to perform, regardless of the weather forecasts.
The new E12 Splash also has Bridgestone’s groundbreaking mindset technology, developed in collaboration with Jason Day and his performance coach Jason Goldsmith to strengthen the pre-shot routine, mental focus and overall consistency. According to Bridgestone consumer research, mindset has proved to be particularly favorable for golfers who usually score above 90, a group that represents around 75% of recreational players. The simple process in three steps – identifying, visualizing, focus – uses the visual signals on the golf ball to lead players through effective routine that can make immediate improvements from the tee, around the green and everywhere in between.
The new Bridgestone E12 Splash will be available in the retail trade on 10 October and has a street price of $ 34.99 per dozen. For help with selecting which Premium Bridgestone model is the right ball for their game, consumers must try Bridgestone’s Selection guide for golf balls.
