Recommended start time for round 1
JJ Spaun broke through with his second PGA Tour win this season, and the first since 2022, and it was a big one. Spaun triumphed at the 2025 US Open at Oakmont, helping him finish 25th in the final FedEx Cup standings.
It also helped earn him a spot in his first American Ryder Cup team, where he won 2-1-0 as one of the only highlights of the Americans’ loss at Bethpage Black.
Spaun will play the first two rounds of the World Wide Technology Championship alongside one of his Ryder Cup teammates, Ben Griffin. Griffin is also the betting favorite in Mexico this week.
Spaun tees off for the opening round alongside Griffin and William Mouw on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. ET.
You can watch the first round of the 2025 World Wide Technology Championship Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET on Golf Channel. You can also stream a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage via NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App.
