Attractively priced from RM86K-109K (including an RM4,000 Early Binding Discount), the new car seems to be to simulate the run-away success of its predecessor, with a new BHE15TD I-GT 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, new front and backstairs, a completely new and unique interior and new.
Proton calls it ‘completely new’, and we can really see why. The same platform, yes, but many improvements are made-more power, more torque, higher (claimed) efficiency, more modern interior, larger screen, android car/apple carPlay from the start, Bahasa Malaysia speech command (you must change the system language in BM first), pre-installed RFIGD and BACKED RFIDS.
The car (s) that you see here is the flagship variant of the range, easy to identify by the black roof and door mirrors, and that bridge-like tailgate with winglets, which is also black, regardless of the body color. This is strict for the extroverted people; The Executive and Premium variants get a less screaming spoiler.
Inside the auto-dimming rear view mirror, two-tone black-red interior, black headlining, transparent sun visors, panoramic sunroof and wireless telephone charger are exclusive flagship, just like automatic parking, which is no longer to save the button for the car to move; It is now a one-touch affair, as it should be.
