The annual event, formerly known as the Father/Son Championship, has been held as a traditional end-of-year tournament since 1995.
The 2025 PNC Championship will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Floridaand once against there is a top class team of parent and child or parent and grandchild.
Bernhard Langer and son Jason are the reigning champions after winning the title in both 2023 and 2024 and they are back as one of 20 pairs in the 2025 PNC Championship.

PNC Championship Format and Schedule
The PNC Championship is preceded by a Pro-Am and then played over two rounds/72 holes at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
It is played as a Betterball pairs format, with both players hitting their tee shots and the team selecting the better shot. Both players then play their next shot from that location.
This process continues until the hole is completed, with the lowest score for each hole counting toward the team’s total score.
Five different sets of tees, based on age and skill level, are used to form the PNC Championship for all 20 pairs.

The The PNC Championship tournament has a prize fund of $1,000,000, with $200,000 going to the winning team.
