The facelifted Kia Carnival was finally launched in Thailand, about 15 months after it made his Asean debut in Indonesia (and a full two years after it was revealed worldwide). This is linked to an electric motor of 54 PS/304 Nm and an automatic transmission with six gears for a total system exit of 245 PS and 367 Nm.
The design is, according to what was previously shown, accepting Kia’s Opposites United Design Language and with new fascias front and rear. Vertical LED headlights and the characteristic star card of the brand during the day a much larger schedule, while inverted L-shaped LED tail lights and a lower number plate recess deliver a cleaner-looking back. Distinguish 19-inch cubic black alloy wheels are standard.
Inside, the changes are more minimal modern-looking cabin of the fourth generation wins a uniform widescreen display panel that still contains a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, but the base analogue meter cluster has been replaced by a complete LCD unit with a 4.2-in-FAAGS DEASS. De Luxe gets a 12.3-inch full-color screen as before, together with a new digital rear-view mirror.
The connected cockpit (CCNC) Infotainment System is faster and is now with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (previously wired only). A full-width ambient light strip under the air openings is also of the entire width, while the audio and air-conditioning controls are combined in a single switchable touch panel according to the EV6, which releases space for a larger storage bubby. Elsewhere, the six USB ports in the vehicle are now of the USB-C species.
Standard kit includes doors of the power collection, key-free entrance, starting button, three-pace Air-Con, Acht-Way Power-Related front seats, chairs of the second row, faux leather upholstery, a Qi Wireless Charger, Six Speakers, a ProXimity Systemyste Hands-freximity-free hands-freximity-free hands-freximity-free hands-like hands-like tailgate.
De Luxe adds projector “Cube” Headlights, fog lights, double sun drugs, a head-up display, driver’s memory, premium relaxation chairs in the second row with Ottomans and One-Touch backlining, first and second row of chair ventilation, black and brown leather belly and a 12-speaking bushy system.
In terms of safety, the carnival is supplied as standard with the full supplement of SmartSense-Druursassisters, such as autonomous emergency brakes, adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go, Lane Centerhulp and blind spot monitoring with collision avoidance. Eight airbags (including a middle airbag) and stability control are also mounted across the board.
With the facelifted carnival that has already been assembled in Malaysia, we expect that the car will be launched here sooner instead of being launched later. The decision to abolish the diesel engine in favor of a hybrid system is logical for our market, in view of the discontinuation of diesel fuel subsidies -further helped by the recent increased Budi95 subsidy for Ron95 gases.
