The Hero World Challenge promises a dramatic finish this weekend, with more than half the field battling it out around the tournament’s 36 holes.
A logja of five players currently leads the way at 10 under par. The group includes major winners Hideki Matsuyama, Wyndham Clark and JJ Spaun, as well as Cameron Young and Akshay Bhatia.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is one stroke back at nine under par after an uncharacteristic double-bogey on the 16th hole derailed his charge in the second round. There are a total of eleven players in the twenty-man field, who are within three shots of the lead.
