The third round of the Hero World Challenge 2025 kicks off on Saturday, December 6 at the Albany GC in the Bahamas. Full Hero World Challenge start times for Saturday’s third round can be found at the bottom of this post.
Recommended start time for round 3
This year’s edition of the Hero World Challenge is increasingly looking like a shootout, with eleven players within three shots of the lead halfway through the tournament. The current lead is shared by five players at 10 under par: Hideki Matsuyama, JJ Spaun, Wyndham Clark, Cameron Young and Akshay Bhatia. Young has scored the round of the tournament so far, posting an eight-under 64 with seven birdies and an eagle, and a score of 30 on the back nine.
“I just missed 11,” Young said after his round. “Hit it close on 12. I left one hanging on the front lip on 13. Yeah, then I was lucky enough to chip on the par 5 and make a putt there on 16 and 17. It’s really just one of those little stretches where I had a few taps and then made a few. It just ended up being a big series of good holes.”
A win this week would mark the second of Young’s year, following his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship in August.
Young will tee off with Matsuyama for the third round on Friday at 11 a.m. ET.
