At least 20 Palestinians were killed on Wednesday in Israeli air strikes over the Gaza Strip, according to Al Jazeera, because the Israeli Ministry of Defense Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu provided a revised proposal for a so-called ‘humanitarian city’ in South Gaza.
The Human Rights Office of the United Nations (OHCHR) said that the humanitarian toll continues to deteriorate, with 10 children losing one or both legs a day as a result of the conflict. More than 134,000 people, including more than 40,500 children, have suffered war -related injuries since the start of the conflict.
OHCHR added that more than 35,000 people are supposed to suffer from considerable hearing loss as a result of explosions, warning for long -term medical and psychological trauma for the civilian population of Gaza.
The Israeli army has announced the opening of a new corridor in southern Gaza that divides the Khan Younis area into eastern and western zones.
The Magen Oz Corridor, the 15 km route, connects with the Morag -Gang, which was founded in April to separate Khan Younis from Rafah.

According to a military explanation, the corridor is intended to increase the pressure on Hamas and to dismantle the remaining brigade in the city.
Military analysts say that the development indicates a deepening of the Israeli campaign in southern Gaza, while humanitarian organizations warn that the move could worsen civil relocation and prevent access to help.
In the meantime, the Israeli Ministry of Defense has submitted a revised plan to Netanyahu for “humanitarian city” in southern Gaza.
The new plan would cost 4 billion sickles ($ 1.2 billion) and be completed within two months, Army Radio reported. The site would house 600,000 displaced Palestinians in tents, with access to water, food and electricity.
An earlier version of the plan, introduced by Minister of Defense Israel Katz, was reportedly rejected by Netanyahu as too expensive and logistically difficult.
Human rights organizations have both convicted iterations of the plan and call it an attempt to violate Palestinians to comparisons with a limited zone with a concentration camp.
Israeli media reports ‘dramatic progress’ in Gaza ceases -furen interviews
Indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Doha, Qatar, have described what Israeli media described over the past 24 hours as “dramatic progress”.
Talks, who started on July 6, are intended to obtain a ceasefire and a prisoners exchange agreement. According to the Israeli channel 13, the breakthrough came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli security cabinet corresponded to alleviate part of their requirements – in particular on the continuous presence of the army in Gaza.
Unnamed officials told the outlet valve that the current framework includes a 60-day break in Israeli operations, after which fighting could resume. Although Netanyahu is said to have approved “extra flexibility” to help the process move forward, he remains unlike the complete end of the war.
Channel 13 quoted an Israeli official who said: “The road to a deal is now paved”, although no concrete timeline was offered for his conclusion.
Israel’s war against Gaza
Since the end of October 2023, Israel has carried out a devastating military campaign in Gaza, killing nearly 58,500 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children.
The ruthless bombing has leveled a large part of the besieged enclave, creating serious food shortages, feeding the health infrastructure and feeding the spread of diseases.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest trips for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who accused them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also confronted with a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
