Sri Lanka sealed a 2-0 Series Whitewash on Zimbabwe with a clinical victory of five wicket in the second ODI in Harare Sports Club on Sunday, thanks to a solid ton of Pathum Nissanka And a captain of Charith Asalanka. His stand with skipper Asalanka, who insisted 71 from 61 balls, played a major role in the team’s victory when they added 90 points for the fourth Wicket. Nissanka eventually fell with 42 points, but Asalanka took it until the end before he leaves with only six runs required. Janith Liyanage (19*) and Kamindu Mendis (5*) then took the team over the line when Sri Lanka 278 reached 5 in 49.3 overs, making the victory over with three balls.
