Young woman in whom thyroid cancer was determined by only 20 claiming that GPs have rejected years of symptoms such as ‘laziness’.

A young woman has issued a critical warning in which people are encouraged to listen to their bodies after the symptoms have been rejected by doctors for years, deadly thyroid cancer were found to be.

Courtney Nettleton, from West Yorkshire, was only 20 years old when she was diagnosed with the disease, which had already spread to nearby lymph nodes and blood vessels.

Mrs. Nettleton started to experience symptoms in the summer of 2021, including extreme fatigue, inexplicable weight loss and mood swings, but her doctor just rejected her again a lazy teenager.

“Doctors really let me believe that my tiredness was alone because I was a lazy teenager, but I think I knew it was deep inside that it wasn’t normal,” she said in a tap video that has been viewed 1.5 million times so far.

Because her doctor did not seem to worry, Mrs. Nettleton wiped other warning signals from the red flag of the disease, despite the fact that something was wrong.

This type of cancer influences the thyroid gland, which is located in the front part of the neck.

But in cancer patients, abnormal cells in the thyroid gland begin to distribute and grow uncontrollably, which influences the natural hormone levels and causes symptoms.

The most common symptoms are a lump in the neck, a hoarse voice that lasts more than three weeks and a persistent sore throat or swallowing problems.

‘I noticed that my voice changed more after my diagnosis, but I couldn’t scream anymore. I could talk, but nothing would come out when I screamed, it was just air, “said the young caretaker.

Medullary thyroid cancer can also cause unusual symptoms, such as flushing face and weight loss – a common symptom of most cancers.

‘At one point I literally thought I started with an early menopause. The hot flashes came all day long, “she said in a tap to increase consciousness for the rare disease.

Eventually, in January 2022, she sees a lump in her neck, who led her to go back to the doctors for a second opinion.

Courtney said that doctors completely rejected her symptoms and delayed her diagnosis until the cancer had a starter to spread

In February 2022, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in February 2022.

Only a month later, MS Nettleton underwent two operations to remove both sides from the butterfly-shaped gland as a total thyroidectomy.

This is the most common treatment option for the disease.

Mrs. Nettleton was then led to believe that she was cancer -free and that the operation was successful.

But only three days later, on March 25, she got the devastating news that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and blood vessels, which required further surgery and radiotherapy.

MS Nettleton had removed the lymph nodes in her neck before a round of radio -necessary therapy was undergone to kill any remaining cancer cells.

And on December 22 of that year, Mrs. Nettleton was told that she had finally defeated the cancer.

Now she wants to increase a better consciousness for the rare but deadly disease and he insists on listening to their bodies, pleading for their health and getting a second opinion if something feels wrong.

Thyroid cancers are increasingly occurring, with health officials predicting that the incidence rates will rise in the UK by 2035 by an alarming 74 percent.
