Mekhi Blackmon, a relatively young Viking, looked like a breakout candidate who entered 2024; A knee injury outside season undermined that possibility. Recently he thought about the injury in A quick chat with Darren Wolfson.

But after my little three days or whatever I was about it.” Blackmon describes himself as “an emotional person” whose open representation of grief led his teammates to say together: “Damn, this is a crushed situation.” “The transfer of emotion to teammates helped to drive home how personal the injury was to Blackmon, a story that helps to help why he is so excited for the coming season.

Blackmon is on 5’11 ”and weighs 178 pounds, is not the biggest corner. He is a promising angle.
He is 26, making him a little older than many third-year NFL players. His Rookie season in 2023 went pretty well, all taken together. The No. 102 Pick – the last draft slot in the 3rd round – came on the field for fifteen games and started three. He earned 41 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 interception and impressive 8 passes defended.
The pff enthusiasts in the crowd will be encouraged to see that the corner in his Rookie season a healthy 71.8 -class huvelde. The rank positioned Blackmon on the 42nd in 229 corners, suggesting that it is a fairly strong starter (at least because of the mere assessment).
