Securing a place in the ITTF World Hopes Week is the incentive for the young athletes participating in the England Hopes Challenge Cup this weekend in the Elite Training Center in Sheffield.
The winners of both the male and female competitions will receive joker signs on the ITTF World Hopes Week, which will be held at the same location in October.
This weekend, day 1 will be a training day, led by Hopes coach Ben Barlow and supported by Natalie Green, Antony Constantinou & Emma Vickers of the Performance Team.
Players’ home coaches will also be welcomed at the ETC to be part of the weekend.
The Challenge Cup starts on Sunday. Players qualified for the competition by going to the quarterfinals last season or beyond in the Singles Under-12 singles at the Mark Bates Ltd U10-13 National Championships or by receiving one of the four joker signs per genus of the England. Coaches.
There will be three groups of four players per gender, played in two tables. Basic on the results of the groups, players will carry a second group stage of four groups of three players and play for positions – who play in the top group that play for that important top location!

The ITTF World Hopes Week brings together the best U12 players from all over the world, who have qualified through their own continental process and their coaches. The event includes a week of training, followed by the Hopes Challenge event during the closing weekend.
