Today, the Reds officially announced the spring training broadcast schedule for Reds.tv, which includes seven games. Of those seven games, only three will actually be “Reds” broadcasts. Three of the games will be against Cleveland and come from the Guardians feed with their announcers and crew, and one game against the Brewers will come from the Milwaukee feed with their broadcast crew doing all the work.
It’s kind of amazing that in 2026, anyone with a cell phone can stream live to the entire world, but a billion-dollar company only produces three of its own spring training games and only broadcasts seven in total. You can probably stream your local high school’s baseball, basketball, or football games every week, but here we are. Things could be worse, however, as the Los Angeles Angels told their media today that they would not broadcast any spring training games this year.
But the positive thing about only seven games being broadcast on Reds.tv is that all seven games will be free. Although you can buy Reds.tv for the 2026 season for as little as $99.99 (if you’re in the Reds market – see Reds.tv for more details on this), you can watch all seven Reds spring games they broadcast for free. All you need is an MLB.com account or the MLB app.
The seven games that Reds.tv offers this year and are free are:
- February 21 – Cleveland’s broadcast
- February 28 – Milwaukee’s broadcast
- March 2 – vs the Cubs – Reds broadcast
- March 8 – vs. Arizona – Reds broadcast
- March 17 – Cleveland’s broadcast
- March 18 – vs Colorado – Reds broadcast
- March 22 – Cleveland’s broadcast
