Finally the moment had come for Yoane Wissa.
The striker was included in a matchday squad for Newcastle United.
Yoane Wissa was injured while on international duty just days after signing for United and faced a long recovery period.
With Newcastle United leading 2-0 at St James’ Park against Burnley, Yoane Wissa was given the final twenty minutes by Eddie Howe.
There is nothing dramatic to report about this late debut, other than the striker finally playing for Newcastle United.
It’s no surprise that Yoane Wissa looked a little rusty and wasn’t quite match fit, reasons why Eddie Howe was obviously desperate to get him on the pitch for these minutes.
There is plenty more to come from the former Brentford striker once he is fully fit and sharp again.
