Yankees take series about Astros to start a crucial rack on a strong note despite more referee drama

Houston-De Yankees are in the midst of a discouraging stretch of 12 games against four tough opponents.

Or five, if you record Brian Walsh.

But unlike Wednesday evening, when they felt that Walsh cost them the match behind the record, the Yankees could overcome another blunder from the same referee to claim the rubber game with a tense 8-4 victory over the Astros on Thursday evening.

Walsh’s controversial call that Ryan McMahon dropped a ball on the third base and it not only lost the transfer that it seemed to be the case to be the case in a run in the sixth inning that the Astros attracted within 4-2.

It was 4-3 who introduced the eighth when McMahon created a breathing space with an RBI single in the top of the eighth before Trent Laaded for a three-run Homer, his 30th of the year, which brought the Yankees 8-3 lead 8-3 and silent the 35.018 crowd.

Yet more drama followed in the bottom of the ninth.

David Bednar came in and allowed back-to-back hits, the second A Double of Taylor Trammell, at what point Aaron Boone went to talk to crew chief Adrian Johnson about the bat he used.

After a long delay, in which Johnson consulted the Replay office in New York, he gave the bat to an official authenticator, probably to be assessed by the competition.

The Astros (77-64) then brought the draw to the plate with one before Bednar Carlos Correa and Christian Walker eliminated to end it.

De Wilde Victory sent the Yankees (78-62) High back to New York for another big weekend setup against the Blue Jays, which they now follow with three games for East East with 22 games to play.

The Yankees also moved half a game for the Red Sox for the top already wild card.

Before chaos followed, the Yankees were hit with an injury fear when Jazz Chisholm Jr. The competition in the fourth inning left with knees on both knees, which took place on individual plays.

Luke Weaver gave a home run to Jesús Sánchez to distract the seventh, and then reached two more Astros with two from the base, it all started to feel painfully familiar for the Yankees.

But Fernando Cruz came in from the Bullpen to get a huge strikeout from Forever Yankees Nemesis Jose Altuve to escape the jam.

When they came to an unbearable loss on Wednesday evening, the Yankees led 4-1 who entered the sixth inning when the referee announced his presence again.

With a man on second, Altuve hit a soft lining to third base, where McMahon seemed to catch it and then losing the ball during the transfer.

But Walsh, who missed several calls behind the record during the eighth inning of Devin Williams on Wednesday, ruled that McMahon never secured the ball.

Aaron Boone ran the field and got the referees to talk about the piece – which was not revarable – among themselves, but in the end they came to the conclusion that McMahon was not caught the ball.

Incredibly, Boone went back to the field to try to get an explanation, although he somehow maintained his calmness and was not ejected for what would have been the second night in a row.

Carlos Rodón received the following batter, Carlos Correa, to land in the choice of a field player who should have been a doubles, except that Ben Rice could not catch a low pitch of the second Honkman José Caballero, allowing the run of the second to reach 4-2.

But Rodón eliminated the following two batters to prevent the inning from getting out of hand, so that a strong effort was completed at 109 throws.

It was a 1-1 match in the fifth inning when McMahon Die 3-Uit-4 went with three RBIs Leiddo by crushing a home run to the midfield of Cristian Javier, his third as a Yankee.

Cody Bellinger added an RBI single before the Yankees made it 4-1 when Caballero ran in a full count on a violation of the pitch clock-the second such walk of the astros with the bases loaded.
