The Veteran Carrasco is not on the 40-man schedule of the Yankees after he has been designated for an assignment and the acceptance of an outright on Triple-A earlier this season.
Carrasco, 38, started six games and made a few relief performances for the Yankees after signing a Minor League deal in the winter. That contract came with a basic salary of $ 1.5 mm, which will transfer the Braves. He has made 10 starts and a relief performance with the top branch of New York in Scranton, throwing an ERA of 3.27 in general. This includes a particularly strong run since mid-June, in which Carrasco has recorded 44 innings with an ERA of 2.45-side it with a medium strikeout of 16.6%. He is limited walks with a strong clip of 5.7% in that period and this year has a ground ball percentage north of 51.6% in Triple-A.
This is the second deal for an earlier DFA’ed-starter that the injuries-destroyed Atlanta Front Office has been performed for the past 24 hours. In addition, they also announced that Righty Grant Holmes On the way to the 60-day wounded list because of an elbow injury.

Carrasco will probably be added to the 40-man schedule of Atlanta, if not immediately than in the near future. The Braves need all the help they can get, simply navigating through the rest of the season. Spencer steps is still healthy on top of the rotation, but the depth card after him includes Bryce Elderthe newly acquired Fedde and recent exemption claim Joey Wentz.
