WWE Summerslam 2025 Results such as Jey Uso, Roman Reigns Win Opening match

On WWE Summerslam 2025, the top two former members of the Bloedlijn, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, reunited in an attempt to bring Seth Rollins’ Minions Bronson and Bron Breakker down.

With Rollins currently dealing with a leg injury, the Focus shifted from WWE to building Breakker for a controversial collision with rule. Although many fans expected them to have a breaker vs. Reigns Singles match in Summerslam would see, WWE went with Reigns and Uso as a duo instead.

In Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, “The OTC1” looked again to confirm itself as WWE’s top dog after a long absence of Raw and Smackdown.

Struggling in only his fourth television match in 2025 and only since Wrestlemania 41, Reigns had to make an explanation at Summerslam. That is exactly what he did, sacrificing himself several occasions to help his team to victory.

As expected, Reigns conquered in his return match, but it was Uso who won the match for the Uber-Popular Babyface Duo to kick WWE Summers Lam on Saturday. The victory has postponed Reigns’ 2025 Record on 2-2 while he continues to struggle less and less often in the midst of his climb in Hollywood.

Some of the greatest moments in the victory of Reigns and USO were:

• USO broke an enormous dive to the outside of the ring early in the game and all others took out in the game.
• Uso received the hot tag to rule after a huge DDT rode. Reigns made a red -hot comeback before taking a huge dive on rode and breaker on the outside, normally escaped a disaster while he almost landed on his head.
• With the third big dive of the game, a suicide dive hit to eliminate both USO and Reigns. Breaker followed that by shooting Reigns with a washing line on the announcement table.
• Back in the ring was uso rode on his shoulders and then Breaker came from the upper rope with an impressive Avalanche Bulldog.
• Reigns spent Breaker through the barricade when the audience broke out in some NSFW songs followed by more hymns of “This is great!”
• While rode on the upper rope, Reigns destroyed him with a Superman Punch and then combined with USO to hit the 1D, the Tag team finisher of USOs, to the delight of the crowd.
• Reigns sacrificed himself to take a spear from Breakker who was intended for USO, who recovered with a rocket and splash on. That was enough for the 1-2-3.

The loss for Reed and Breakker was generally expected, in which Reigns rarely loses and demonstrably arranges USO as WWE’s most popular baby face. In the absence of Seth Rollins, Breakker is expected to get a huge push, while drove will usually be the “autumnman” who eats pins to protect the image of Breaker.

Just as fast as the return of Reigns took place, he could disappear again after WWE Summerslam 2025.

So, where does that USO leave behind? Well, it seems that USO could be on its way to a blockbuster Tag Team Reunion.

WWE is reportedly considering Send Smackdown’s Jimmy UsoJey’s twin brother, to RAW, a logical move for several reasons. Firstly, Jimmy is on an island on Smackdown, without a family to fight against Solo Sikoa’s new faction. Two, Jimmy’s real woman Naomi just went to Raw, so she would place a switch for Jimmy on the same brand where they belong. Last but not least, Jimmy and Jey desperately needed to save Raw’s Tag Team Division.

Although the TAG team division of Smackdown is a bright spot for the blue brand, RAW has really had trouble making fascinating storylines for Tag team. Jey is a better tag team wrestler than he is like a singles star, and a reunion of the USOs, perhaps the biggest tag team in the WWE history, could work well for all parties involved. In fact, WWE even tested the waters of a USOS reunion during this week’s SmackDown, where Jimmy and Jey reunited In a dark match of a tag team.

Especially with Jey who apparently appears from the world title photo after WWE Summers Lam, fans should expect that the USOs will reunite in the coming weeks after Jey’s big victory on Saturday.
