Founded in 2014, this WTA 1000 event returned to the schedule in 2024 after a 4-year break, with 56 singles players and 28 Double teams compete on 7 out-of-hard courts, including the Central Court Stadium that can organize up to 15,000 fans in the Optics Valley, CHBE.
All top seeds in the draw will receive a BYE in the opening round and will only play on Tuesday in what an event of a week is, instead of the extensive WTA 1000 events that now sow the tennis season.
