The Australian Open announced the entry list for the upcoming 2026 event earlier in December. Ninety-eight of the top 100 women are in the current field, with only world number 64 Danielle Collins (injured) and world number 76 Ons Jabeur (maternity leave) absent.
Karolina Pliskova, YAFAN WANG AND MANANCHAYA SAWKEW are in the protected rankings. Priscilla Hon, Talia Gibson, Emerson Jones, Elizabeth Mandlik, Taylah Preston, Zarina Diyas and Tiantso Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah are among the wildcards.
The main tournament at Melbourne Park takes place from January 18 to February 1. The qualification will take place from January 12 to 15.
