Sports fundraising manager

Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sports fundraising manager to become a member of our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in securing the financial support needed to promote our sports programs and initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sport, excellent communication skills and a proven track record in fundraising.
Important responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies: Make extensive fundraising plans that match the goals and objectives of the organization. Identify potential sources of financing and tailor -made traditional approaches to protect support.
- Donormultivation and stewardship: Construction and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors. Make sure that donors are involved and appreciated by regular communication and recognition efforts.
- Writing and management of subsidies: research and application for relevant subsidies. Preparing mandatory subsidies and manages all reporting requirements. Follow and report on subsidy performance.
- Business partnerships: Identify and develop partnerships with companies and companies. Negotiating sponsorship offers and create mutually affordable collaborations.
- Marketing and communication: Work closely with the marketing team to create fundraising campaigns that effectively communicate the mission and impact of the organization. Use various channels such as social media, E -mail and direct mail to reach potential donors.
- Data management and analysis: Maintaining accurate data of all fundraising activities and donor interactions. Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and to identify areas for improvement.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the fundraising budget. Check the costs and ensure that fundraising efforts yield a positive return on investments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: at least 5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the sports sector. Proven success in securing important gifts, subsidies and sponsorship.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship construction skills.
- Possibility to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skill in fundraising software and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of marketing and public relations techniques.
- Strong skills for organizational and time management.
