The cricketer of Gujarat Giants Georgia Wareham is undoubtedly one of the overseas bowlers to watch this season. Wareham previously featured in the first three editions of the WPL for GG and Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, where she put in mixed but valuable performances. Ahead of WPL 2026, she returned to Gujarat Giants and made an immediate impact.

In the opening match against UP Warriorz Women, Wareham put in a match-winning performance and was deservedly named Player of the Match. She contributed with both bat and ball, picking up figures of 2/30 and also hitting an unbeaten 27 runs off just 10 balls. Her all-round performance highlighted her current form and underlined the threat she poses to opponents throughout the season.
