The energy was palpable Google headquarters in London on Thursday, February 12, when Table Tennis International Events officially unveiled two key corporate programs for the Final ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships London 2026.
As the championships return to their birthplace a century after the first event in 1926, these initiatives offer companies a unique opportunity to become part of the sporting history while creating a lasting social legacy in the capital.
Two ways your organization can get involved
The 2026 Championships are about more than just elite competition; they want to bring table tennis to the heart of London’s business districts and local communities.
The Centenary Table Program
A limited number of special editions will be released to commemorate the 100th anniversary Centenary tables will be installed on high-profile, iconic landmarks in London.
These tables will serve as focal points for the sport during the championships. They will then continue their journey by being preserved by the community or donated through the community to social impact projects Ping! program, allowing the sport to flourish in schools, clubs and health centers in the years to come.
Corporate Cup Competition: Share the stage with legends
Is your office home to the next table tennis champion? The Business competition is an employee engagement initiative designed to encourage friendly rivalry and team spirit in the workplace. With large organizations such as Google, WeWork, Monzo and Deliveroo have already registered, companies are invited to participate in the competition.
Delivered in collaboration with the Ping-pong association, the competition features:
- Format: Teams of three players competing in home and away matches against other competing organizations during a round-robin group stage starting on March.
- The price: Finalists will compete for victory over the OVO Arena Wembley in May, sharing the podium with the World Championships.
