Woman found trapped in suitcase on bus, emerges and shouts ‘Thank God’

A disturbing video which emerged on social media appears to show a woman inside a suitcase in the boot of a bus in Galway, later escaping from the suitcase shouting ‘Thank God’.

A woman has been filmed trapped in the trunk of a Citylink bus, sparking a police investigation.

In a statement released Friday evening, Citylink confirmed that the woman in question was an “unauthorized” passenger on its service.

The disturbing video, which emerged on social media, appears to show a woman in a suitcase in the boot of a Galway Bus. In the video you see the suitcase on its side and you hear a woman shouting.

The person filming approaches the suitcase and unzips it to see a woman who appears stunned and terrified,” reports Galway Beo.

A man can be heard asking her, “Who put you in there?” Finally she manages to get out of the suitcase and says, “Thank God, thank God.” The woman then sits up and puts her head in her hands.

In a statement to Galway Beo, a Citylink spokesperson said: “We are aware of the footage of an unauthorized traveler on one of our services. We have been assisting the Garda with their investigation.”

Meanwhile, a so-called ‘healer’ killed and beheaded her friend before dumping her remains in the woods, packed in a suitcase.

Jemma Mitchell, from Willesden, north-west London, bludgeoned 67-year-old widow Mee Kuen Chong in her Wembley home with a gun that fractured her skull. She then beheaded her victim before putting the remains in a blue suitcase, renting a car and driving to Salcombe, Devon.

The Volvo blew a tire along the way and Mitchell stopped at a gas station before calling for help. The mechanic called for the wheel to be replaced and noticed a “strange musty smell” in the vehicle. Ms Chong’s decapitated body was found by holidaymakers next day next to a wooded footpath near Salcombe.
