Mr. Mannion said that the sale set a new drying block record for Robina and was the fourth largest in the suburbs ever.
“And rightly so,” he said. “I built that place to last a long time and put all the energy in it. It was not just a paint layer and mentioning luxury.
“This is a statement of not only the quality of the market on the Gold Coast, but also the desire to see beautiful, different builds. Those who push the boundaries – and it doesn’t have to be on the water of mermaid to be exceptional.”
The building has two bedrooms, with the king located behind a hidden door.
The house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms was marketed by Ray White Malan + Co-Agent, Ricky Agent and was planned for auction on 12 September.
“New Voorstad record, you have to be happy with that,” said Mr. Agent.
“In all seriousness, Sunset Cove is in a competition, and its own market and that is why it offered so much attention. In the end we only had to keep one open house and we had 90 groups – that is unheard of.”
