State of readyness was killed yesterday in the 10th race in Saratoga – “Multiple non -operable fractures, euthanized on the circuit.” (The 4-year-old may not be the only victim in Saratoga yesterday, because three other horses had to be taken through ambulance.)
In his description about the above, the Thoroughbred Daily News closed with this: “Nyra officials confirmed that the state of preparation is the third racedodality of the summer meeting, which started on 10 July. There have also been two training -dody victims.” In fact, there have been 15 people in Saratoga this summer:
