“We are absolutely thrilled with the results of this sale, which exceeded $5,800,000 gross,” said Leif Aaron, director of digital sales for Fasig-Tipton. “The bidding was strong from start to finish and reflects the depth and diversity of both our offering and our buyer base. With over 1,200 registered bidders and an 80% clearance rate, the market is clearly healthy and active: horses are being sold. We are especially encouraged to see new entrants joining us with each sale, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our buyers and sellers. Also tellingly, 85% of horses sold for $100,000 or more were sold by traditional consignors, so it’s exciting to see how comfortable they are selling high-quality shares on our digital platform.”

The next digital sale is the March Digital Sale, which will be held from March 19 to 24. Registration closes on March 9.
