I love Joe Rogan’s podcast because Rogan cuts all the noise with his straight talk and common sense logic. You can only learn a lot by listening to his podcast.

Some things I learned from the Rogan podcast correspond to many of my rich habit research.

Here are some of the topics he has dealt with that match my research:

1. You are addicted to direct satisfaction

The rich play the long game. My research shows that 76% of the millionaires spend at least 30 minutes every day planning their goals, while only 7% of the poor do the same. Poor people chase immediate dopamine-hits it make X for hours, binge-watching shows or buying things they don’t need.

Sounds known?

Every time you choose Netflix about learning a new skill or impulse-bus that shiny gadget, you exchange your future for a fleeting high.

Joe Rogan always talks about this: discipline is freedom. Millionaires are not smarter; They are just willing to postpone satisfaction. Try this: exchange an hour of social media for reading a book about investments. It’s not sexy, but it’s a start.

2. You hang around with losers

Cruel? Maybe. But your social circle forms your wallet. My studies discovered that 86% of rich people surround themselves with success-oriented peers mentors, entrepreneurs or go-getters. In the meantime, 96% of poor people continue to strengthen bad habits: complaining, spending too much or dreaming without doing.

If your friends are always brutal, always negative or always ‘waiting for the right time’, they drag you down. Jordan Peterson hammered this point at his interview with Joe Rogan: You are the average of the five people with whom you spend the most time. Audit your crew. Do they push you to set a level higher, or are they anchors?

3. You think that education ends in graduating

The rigged system has sold you a lie: obtaining a diploma, getting a job, getting rich. Wrong. My research shows that 88% of the millionaires are committed to daily self-education reading, podcasts or courses, while only 26% of the poor did this. The rich do not rely on a diploma; They are obsessed with learning skills that pay. Rogan always rifles on learning new things and expanding your knowledge. He constantly delves into new ideas, from psychedelics to fitness. If you don’t learn something new every day, you will find out. Grab a book as rich habits or the millionaire next door or listen to a financial podcast. Knowledge connects faster than interest.

4. You are allergic to risk

Here is a stat that you wake up: 65% of the millionaires in my studies calculated risks on – such as starting a side hustle or early investing – while only 11% of the poor did. Poor people play it safely, cling to the dead end jobs or avoiding the stock market because “it is too risky.” News flash: staying comfortable is the greatest risk.

Rogan has discussed this with boys like Elon Musk – work comes from stepping in the unknown. You don’t have to bet your savings, but start small: invest $ 100 in a cheap index fund or pitch a freelance performance. Risk builds up resilience and resilience builds riches.

5. You waste your mornings

Machts set the tone for your life. My data shows that 70% of the millionaires wake up at least three hours before work to practice, plan or learn, while only 3% of the poor do. If you hit snooze until the last second, scrolls about coffee or pick out the door, you start your day in chaos.

Rogan is a beast about this – he gets up early, touches the sauna or sports, which puts his mind straight. Try waking up a week 30 minutes earlier. Use that time to go your goals or go to the gym. Compile small changes in large wins.

The brutal truth

Here is the kicker: wealth is not about happiness or privileges – it’s about habits. My research shows that the rich and the poor are not so different in intelligence or opportunities. The difference is what they do every day. The bad waste time, avoiding risk and surround themselves with negativity.

The rich? They grind, learn and choose their circle wise. It is not fair and it is not easy to hear. But if you are stuck, it’s not the economy or your boss – it’s you.

Don’t you like that? Good. Let it make you get enough to change. Start with one habit: Cut an hour of screen time, read 10 pages of a financial book or throw away that one friend who always nags or takes on damage in your life.

Wealth is not a mystery; It’s a choice.

Stop choosing poverty or mediocrity?
