Kerry Milligan is grateful that her deceased mother was remembered by the accommodation and explains why an ‘stage name’ was used.
On Sunday evening on the Logie Awardsthe late and very loved one Fracture Star Emmie Milligan was remembered as Emmie Silbery.
Her real name was Emmie Milligan, but daughter Kerry, did not mind that her ‘artist name’ was used and was grateful for her recording.
“I didn’t even think about it, but I thought it was a wonderful thing. She deserves to be in memoriam. She was from the oldest woman on Australian television,” Kerry said TV tonight.
The story behind why the name Silbery was used Fracture has also been revealed.
