Former Indian selector Saba Karim Has the recording of veteran Rohit Sharma in India’s team for the next three-match ODI series against Australia, starting on October 19. The former cricket player also noted that Gill could become the all-format captain of India in the next home season and recognize the potential of the 25-year-old to take on the role. In the meantime, the Indian test captain returns to action on Friday 10 October, which leads India in the second test of the two-match series against the West Indies in the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
“You have elevated it and even made the vice-captain in T20s. Now that you have made it, the thought is that very quickly, perhaps by the following season, we will see that Shubman Gill leads in all three formats.
