What happened: Lucid shares fell by 8.26%, up to $ 2.22 in after-URS trade on Tuesday after the maker of the electric vehicle (EV) reported the results of the second quarter that missed the expectations of the analysts and reduced the production forecast.
The California-based EV-company reported a turnover of the second quarter of $ 259.4 million and estimates for shortage of $ 296.24 million. Lucid also placed an adjusted loss of 24 cents per share, wider than the expected loss of 21 cents.

Marc WinterhoffInterim CEO of Lucid, stated: “We had our sixth consecutive quarter of record deliveries in Q2 and expect to continue this trend while we raise the lucid gravestry production in the second half of the year.”
Why it matters: Despite the positive trend of delivery, Lucid reveals his production views for the entire year. Production and delivery figures showed mixed results. The company produced 3,863 vehicles and supplied 3,309 vehicles in the quarter.
The company now expects to produce between 18,000 and 20,000 vehicles in 2025, against its earlier objective of around 20,000 units.
