This weekend, Manchester City hosted Sunderland in a match that some managers may have planned earlier this season to use the Triple Captain chip. As usual in Captain Sensible, we consider whether there’s a reason to look beyond the Norwegian this week, especially now that the Black Cats are in a mean mood.

Once again, Haaland leads Fantasy Football Scout’s captaincy poll by a significant margin. Not far away, 60% of site users believe the Norwegian, who has eighteen attacking results in fourteen league starts, is the best option for Gameweek 15.
Phil Foden’s (£8.3m) impressive form means he gets just under 13% of public support. The English midfielder, who scored 32 points in the past two matchweeks, defeated Haaland against Fulham.
After scoring from the bench midweek, Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) is the only other player with more than 5% support. Arsenal travel to Aston Villa in the early kick-off on Saturday.
