It has been a busy window in the summer transfer for Premier League clubs, with a lot of arrival and ins and outs. Even-watery amounts of money have been spent, as usual, and the company is not ready yet.
While everyone tries to understand all changes, fans, experts and gamblers assess the impact of these new signing sessions on what is or not this Premier League season. Which players will have the biggest impact for their new clubs, which players will turn out to be flops with big money, and which will eventually become the smartest Football Picks For the new campaign. It is of course an inaccurate science, but here we try to make all this by assessing the most tangible statistics – goals and assists. Simply put, which club has brought the most so far? Here we look at the firepower that has been brought in by some of the most important title candidates for the 2025/26 campaign.
Arsenal – 68 (53 goals and 15 assists)
Arsenal has so far grown up in this transfer window, with a few striking signing sessions, including Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Noni Madueke van Rivals Chelsea. But it is the Gunners who have finally protected a top playing goal that fans made enthusiastic for a real title push, and indeed, the arrival of Viktor Gyokers from Sporting has catapulted the Noord -London club on this specific list. A combined 53 goals and 15 assists brought in this summer through four players (who are led three the above as well as Christian Norgaard) by the 39 goals and seven assists contributed by former Coventry striker Gyokeres. If he brings similar songs as the Premier League, Arsenal could celebrate their first title in two long decades.
Liverpool – 62 (32 goals and 30 assists)
Reigning Liverpool champions do not rest on their laurels and have become larger than ever before in the summer transfer window. The club has broken their transfer record by bringing in Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and has brought more goals in the form of exciting French striker Hugo Ekitike by Eintracht Frankfurt. The full-back positions are stimulated by the arrival of Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, in which those four players deliver a combined 32 goals and 30 assists of their respective competition campaigns for the last time. Those figures are also distributed, which means that, perhaps even more than last season, have the Reds goal and help threats of every area of the field. A disturbing thought for rivals.
Manchester United – 48 (35 goals and 13 assists)
United was of course a long way of a title challenge last season, but this will be the first full campaign by Ruben Amorim and the expectations will be increased by some striking forward signing sessions in the form of Matheus Cunha van Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo van Brentford for big money. The enormous advantage for United here, of course, is the fact that these two players contributed a combined 35 Premier League goals last season, with another 13 assists between them. That kind of domestic experience could be his weight in the goal of the Old Trafford Club, and certainly wait for a better campaign.
Manchester City – 45 (23 goals and 22 assists)
City had already led a rebuilding under Pep Guardiola by bringing in a handful of exciting players during the January transfer window, players who will benefit from the scheme in the period that the last campaign offered them. But the assessment of only summer recruits has City Rayan Ait-Nouri (four goals and seven assists), Rayan Cherki (eight goals and 11 assists), Tijjani Reijners (10 goals and four assists) and Jonge Rosenborg (10 goals and four assists) and De Jonge Rosenborg). That is a total of 23 goals and 22 assists to a pretty formidable line-up. Can some of those attacking players take the pressure from Erling Haaland in the Goalscore deployment?
Chelsea – 41 (30 goals and 11 assists)
As usual, it was far from silent on Stamford Bridge in the field of transfer, with more newcomers expected in London during the summer. But at the time of writing, Chelsea Liam Delap has already added from Ipswich (12 goals and two assists), Joao Pedro from Brighton (10 goals and six assists) and Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund (eight goals and three assists). Add a collection of exciting young person such as Estevao, Dario Essugo and Kendry Paez and Chelsea, filled out as always to enter into multiple games in the coming season.
