Lana Wilkinson started designing shoes in 2019 from her north-western house in Melbourne, with the surrender of A-list stylist to the stars and red carpet events-coming with a new spring in her step.

Now the married mother of two is extended to the American market and an important placement of the department store in Australia – with David Jones having an exclusive capsule of her LW brand in stock.

When it came to renovating her house, she worked with Melbourne interior designer Nicole Rosenberg who brings a playful contemporary mood with the house with double storey.

Mrs. Rosenberg took the project five years ago; Bring bent bows in, exchanging high -glossy floors for muted striped rear natural tones and tiling a backyard swimming pool to give it a chic Mediterranean glow.

“We started updating the swimming pool and it expanded with the entire area below,” Mrs. Wilkinson told Realestate.com.au.

“The contemporary upgrade to the swimming pool begged for the next steps, including an outdoor session room that had been modernized and invited to hang around,” she said.

Mrs. Rosenberg helped to transform the swimming pool house to become a family foam – illuminated in pink and filled with Italian Amalfi Coast images.

It is a playful nod to the bustling personality of Mrs. Wilkinson; And those prints serve as a reminder of the first European family treatment she took in 2023 with her husband Liam and their two daughters.

As far as the pink wall is concerned, Wilkinson was initially not sold on the idea.

“I thought it would be discouraging, a bit too much, but in the end I realized that it was actually a nice touch. There is a bit of a moment in every room you go into the house that Nicole has helped to put together. It is as if a red-light moment is found in every area of the house, a chance to pause and feel,” Mrs. Wilkinson.

A fashion photography – print from Brent Rosenberg hangs on the wall of the living room – it is surrounded by lush furniture items, including the King Living Couch. The print itself was more than Mrs. Wilkinson ever spoke on a dress or handbag – but she says that the $ 4500 was worth every dollar.

The dark gray and white palette outside the house is contrasted with the light and clear energy on the inside. Mrs. Rosenberg introduced important characteristics such as a hospitable gangway, an iron steel door and an selfie mirror that was completely logical for Mrs. Wilkinson who places from this viewpoint on most days.

“Nicole really helped to make the house feel out and the bow is now a strong function when you enter,” said Mrs. Wilkinson. “I really trusted Nicole’s aesthetics.”

“We felt pretty tuned to each other and she knows my love for color – she did not want to bring neutral tones everywhere and came up with a design concept that really spoke to me,” she said.

The house has many fashion moments everywhere -from the Toni Maticevsky Salon table Fashion Book that attracts your attention, to a global dining room table and Jardan chairs in the lounger room.

Upstairs there are racks filled with the Australian designer Christopher Esber pieces; Some vintage YSL and Givenchy and for our video -shoot, Mrs. Wilkinson is wearing a Balenciaga -Zandloperjack; A calm power movement that bears up its hard work.

There has been an abundance of family photos over the years that the house rose in the memory, while a Bayliss -floor rug heats the living room; And a work of art by Dina Broadhurst seeps trust in the upper floor of the house.

Mrs. Wilkinson now runs her company away from home, but it is certainly a memory of where it all started. Being able to separate work from home was important for her.

She has also just launched a new podcast with Social Media Influencer Rozalia Russian called The Archive-The Two A-List Friends [who began as frenemies] Dive deep into what really happens behind the scenes of their busy compound life.

They film the podcast in Mrs. Russian’s house in Richmond; Mrs. Wilkinson wore her favorite Maticevsky pieces -her cupboards filled with the item of clothing of the Melbourne designer.

“I recently told Toni that God forbids when I die, I want to be buried in a Maticevsky dress,” she smiled.

She ensures that the archive dissolves the difficult topics of the hype of social media, stereotypes and the pressure to be all and more.

“Rozalia and I have both been in the fashion industry for 15 years and we have plenty to share about our experiences and hope to enable other women to chase their dreams,” she said.

“We retreat the veil to the good, the bad and everything that happens in between – because it is not all beautiful.

“Instagram is very high in what is really happening in our lives and we talk candidly about the challenges associated with standing in the spotlight,” she said.

At home, her high heel shoes are abundant. You wonder if she ever wears something other than a towering stiletto. From gold to black and neon pink heels, she records the essence of landing job trends and brings her own shiny look to the main street with aplomb.

“My whole approach with my company and brand is that you have to keep moving.

“When you grow and expand the company, there will always be roadblocks. You can’t jump over it; you have to deal with everything that comes your way. I think starting the brand at home is really strengthened where it all started and what we have become in the past five years,” she said.

“The rear part of this house is where I developed the first collection and that was a large part of my life,” she said.

“I have just returned from New York, where we showed our collection and do well in Australia with a new store that will be in Chadstone next weekend.

“There is no final destination with shoe designer, you get up and keep going, because to keep the momentum you have to be a step ahead.”
