Mithare urged Vidnyan to collect credible evidence. He also wondered why Vidnyan kept quiet for so long and only opened up after the wedding was called off.
“He (Vidnyan) claims that he paid us money, but there is no proof whether he paid by check or bank transfer. All the allegations that Palash was caught with another woman – what is the proof? We don’t know this man; we met him through Smriti’s father (Shrinivas). We have no direct connection with him. Why did he keep quiet for so long? Only after the marriage broke up did he (Vidnyan) surface. Palash is investigating his legal possibilities,” said Mithare, as quoted by Hindustan Times.
For those unfamiliar, Vidnyan recently claimed that Palash was caught red-handed with another woman. He also revealed how Palash’s mother and his family blackmailed him into paying an additional amount towards the budget of an unreleased film.
“I was at the wedding party (November 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed in bed with another woman. That scary scene (it was a terrifying scene), he was beaten up by the Indian women cricketers. When I met his mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she said that the budget to release the film has now been increased to INR 1.5 crore. They asked me to invest another INR 10 lakh otherwise I wouldn’t get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to throw me out of the film, forcing me to file a complaint,” Vidnyan said.
