What will Braves record in September?

August 2025 will go off a strange month in the season of the Braves’ cream of the Disappointment crop. It was played the first month in essentially total irrelevance, because the Braves were still hung with decent play -off opportunities at the beginning of July. It was also their first winning month of 2025. 16-13 is not spectacular, but if a team always succeeds 16-13, they win 89 games and will probably make the play-offs. (By the way, the winning percentage of July of the Braves was their worst month since April 2016.)

However, I am not sure if there is a special reason to be encouraged by the Braves in August. Part of it was just a natural balance-the Braves had the eighth best month records the competition, but only ended 13th in position player Fwar and 22nd in Pitching Fwar. They suggest something like a 13-16 or 14-15 months based on war gains, and not the actual good month they had. The month was actually a star and scrubs-like thing, with a quartet from Jurickson Profar, Michael Harris II, Matt Olson and Drake Baldwin are the only boys who do something offensive, and a mix of Hurston Waldrep, Raisel Iglesias, and then Joey Wentz and Bynce’s ElderCen.

That brings us until September. The Braves are clearly done to win games. They don’t do nice experiments, but they also try not to win games. It is only necessary to see that Hunter Stratton Raisel Iglesias, who walked through the ninth, stopped a tenth inning that is so much for it. Cal Quantrill somehow survived a schedule shuffle and the return of Chris Sale, which is very Yeesh. But this is a team that Hurston Waldrep and Chris Sale now has 40 percent of his games, and now has the opportunity to play a line-up that is more than half filled with above-average 2025 inputs.

Projections have the central estimate in the future on 13-12. They are preferred (sometimes very light) in ten of their next 19, and then end the season against the Pirates and Nationals, so pitching matchup-wise things can be more favorable. But their next 12 games are now also against contenders in races, while they have nothing to play for and seem to realize this, so … who knows. What do you think?
