The first match of the fast-growing 2025 season is in the books, while the Los Angeles Chargers brought the Detroit Lions 34-7 to the Hall of Fame Game. A team led by Harbaugh in the preseason, whether it is Jim or John, enjoy winning meaningless competitions. But unless you bet on this, you are more interested in how individuals played, especially those possible fantasy football sleeps.
Omarion Hampton – Lac, run back
The Rookie Rusher did not have much opportunity to show his skills on Thursday evening, but he did get the start and two is wearing the first ride, which shows that he is currently in the lead for the regular season starting work. That news is not surprising, because he is their first round Pick and free desk acquisition Najee Harris has still not been able to practice due to an eye injury that was sustained during a fireworks accident in the low season.

If he can win most of the work, he will be in a good situation to be a strong fantasy back in a run-oriented attack with a strong offensive line. And even if Harris returns quickly, Hampton still has a reasonable chance of holding that job. Go back with the young person until further notice in this situation.
Keandre Lambert-Smith-Lac, wide recipient
Lambert-Smith and Tre Harris are two Rookie recipients who have been brought in to help teach a broad recipient group with a weak depth. On Thursday, both players were started when Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Jalen Reagor rested. Harris did not do much, but Lambert-Smith made an excellent 24-year reception to distinguish herself for the night.
He has a number of sleeper, because reagor is the most important recipient he has to beat to be ready for playing time at the X position. But in Redraft he is still very waiting to see an option. If he can build this game, he could start with real buzz while we close the fantasy design season.
Tyler Conklin, will disleb, oronde gadsden – Lac, tight ends
Disly was the primary tight end last season and finished 26th in PPR points per match for the position. The chargers remained around Disly, but added veteran Conklin of the Jets and Rookie Gadsden in the fifth round of the design.
In this first season game, Conklin got the day off, while Disly and Gadsden were the primary attacking tight ends to start. And per Pro Football Focus was in the game during their one non-goal line, 11-man personnel group. That shows that Gadsden might be disly or at least competes with Snaps.
We know what Conklin can do. He is reliable and if the primary tight end he can have a fantasy attacking power, depending on Matchup. But Gadsden has more potential to be a real weapon for attack. He is currently the lottery choice, especially if you are in two -way final competitions.
Lions attacking players
The Lions Starters were all and even some back -ups did not play. We also know that their starters are for the most part reliable fantasy players. Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Sam Laporta are all strong concept choices this year. Unless the lions are stabbed hard by the injury bug, there are not many players that you can call sleepers in this team.
In general, this is only the start of the preseason and we still have enough to learn in this next month. But we can now feel good about Hampton, while we keep an eye on Gadsden and Lambert-Smith while we continue
