In the great and the good, Greyhead, Fantasy Football Scout community writer analyses the Gameweek 7 transfers and strategies from some well-known Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.

“Riders on the Storm”
Storm? What storm? FPL Weatherman was dusting off his windsock ahead of Gameweek 7 as he said a storm could blow and cause chaos.
Ultimately, the only typhoon to blow through the FPL landscape was the Persistent Defensive Contribution Typhoon (DefCon). Bruno Fernandes (£9.0m) already has his tackle points?!
The matches for Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Chelsea, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers had a few more Wildcards shaking, with Joe Lepper, Martin Baker and Az the last to throw all their cards into the air.
None of them contained João Pedro (£7.7m), which has quickly fallen out of favour, but they have all chosen Victor (£9.1 million), who is now tumbling down the hill of bad grace with him as it turns out he never had penalties.
Ben Crellin and Tom Dollimore also felt that Gameweek 7 was a good week for Bench Boost. Editor’s note: That was not the case.
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
Hall of Famer Tom Dollimore moved ominously into second place with Fabio in his sights with a fourth green arrow and a score of 87.
The Gameweek 7 Bench Boost was a flop with only seven points; however, he had the essentials Antoine Semenyo (7.9 million), which is destined to be more expensive than Mohammed is wrong (£14.4m) with the way his price continues to rise, alongside a double Arsenal defense and an overlooked As the gvviol (£5.9 million).
Martin Baker remains well above average with the best of the Wildcards on 86, with Then Burns (£5.1m) the unlikely difference maker. It’s worth noting that he is the fifth highest scoring defenseman and is less than 10% owned.
The captaincy decision was mainly dominated by the high-scoring robot. The two non-owners went first Bukayo van (£9.9m) and Fernandes. Luke choosing Bruno again after the Gameweek 6 disaster feels a bit like asking an arsonist to put out a fire.
WILDCARDS
Three brave souls received a Wildcard this week – see below for the full overview.
There was a clear Arsenal three-way pattern: one from the back, one from the middle and one from the front.
Erling Haaland (£14.5m) is there, plus DefCon freak Marcos Sensei (£5.0m), more Nick Pope (£5.1m) and of course Semenyo.
Two of them came along Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.5m), which appears to be the algorithmic flavor of the international breakthrough; only Joe showed more sense to resist.
Az jumped on the Enzo Fernandez (£6.7m) express, a smart move as it seems to be more advanced with it Cole Palmer (£10.3 million) ill. He also showed confidence in the Nuno revolution at West Ham United El Hadji Diouf (£4.4 million) appears in his bank.
The choice of Yankuba Minteh (£6.0m) from Joe catches my eye as he knows his Seagulls and Brighton are having a decent run, and he opted for the in-form Jaidon Anthony (£5.7 million).
Martin Baker is going a bit more route one, apart from the aforementioned Burn, with a couple of in-form Crystal Palace lads, Ismila Hare (£6.5 million) and Chris Richards (£4.5m) – does anyone think the latter looks like the Thin Lizzy singer? No, just me.

TRANSFERS
The red half of north London was the hubbub of transfer activity Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.3m) and Saka the favorite options.
Tom Freeman and Zophar risked the rotation of Jurriën Hout (£5.9m), but was rewarded with an assist and a clean sheet this week. Perhaps there is still life in the attacking full-backs.

TEMPLATE
A small disturbance in the corps as Saka enters Phil foot (£8.1 million). I still have confidence in him, even though it now seems to me that having him on the team is as useful as a cat flap in an elephant enclosure.
The template and percentage ownership among these managers can be found below:
Dubravka (100.0%), Raya (38.0%)
Senesi (66.7%), Gabriel (66.7%), Andersen (61.1%), Porro (38.9%), Rodon (33.3%)
Reijnders (83.3%), Semenyo (77.8%), Fernandes (66.1%), Ndiaye (33.3%), Saka (33.3%)
Haland (88.9%), Gyokeres (77.8%), J Pedro (50.0%)
CHIP UPDATE

Now a look at the chip strategies. Fabio has already gone all-in with four. Greedy Fabio!
While Mark Sutherns, Tom Freeman, Lateriser, Zophar and Huss E have just played the Triple Captain chip so far.
CONCLUSION
I hope this past week’s gallop has kept you somewhat entertained as we wait for another week of international boredom.
Whatever the monotony of FPL entails, I repeat, do not think of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Anyway, that’s all mine for now. Remember: don’t have any FPL nightmares.
