Hello!
Are you enjoying the weekend so far? I had to cancel a party last Friday and did a lot to stay straight on the couch or bed as long as possible. It has helped with the creeping dizziness I have been feeling since the end of last week. I worry that exhaustion is breathing down my neck, shivering! Luckily we have student health, I’ll talk to them to ease some of the stress.
Actually, that wasn’t what I wanted to talk about. One of you wanted me to post my top channels that I follow on YouTube. I love doing that, staring at simmering videos of people repainting their living rooms or showing off what they have in their bags is one of my favorite pastimes!
The theme of those I follow is mainly interior design and fashion women. I want a calm pace, beautiful music and beautiful environments. I’m sure you already know some of the channels, but maybe you don’t know some? We see:
Lizzy Hadfield. A British girl with a Leeds dialect, refreshing! She shops at the farmer’s market, has her book club Buffy’s at fancy restaurants, and wears clothes and expensive bags that she has bought or received. For some reason she lives in both London and New York. Here you go and try to take the train first and foremost, while others fly shuttle services across the Atlantic! Now realize that there is something here that provokes me. At the same time she is fun and relaxed.
Lucky scent with Steven Gontarski. This is so fun! Luckyscent is a perfume store based in LA and New York. On this channel you will find both their podcast in video form and the staff’s perfume tips in shorter format. They have several guests on the podcast, with my favorite so far being perfume critic Luca Turijn. Exactly what I look at while cleaning or bathing.
Christine has a nice old YouTube feel to her videos where you get to see her monthly favorite makeup and LPs. She lives in LA, does ceramics and DJs. Sounds like a nice friend.
Brittany Bathgate you know each other, right? Minimalist fashion woman who talks about the cut of clothing, materials and the renovation of her house. She has a calm style, reads books and goes running in very British environments. I see a similarity between her appearance and mine, purely on a personal level. Wonderful actually, with a YouTuber who does not have an exuberant temperament.
Robertgigs. A young, very fashionable model boy who furnishes his LA “rental” with cute flea market finds in warm colors. It feels nice that he focuses on simple tips that feel accessible!
