What was Amy Winehouse’s ability?
The rehabilitation singer would once be worth a £ 15 million ($ A23 million).
However, the Winehouse Fortuin was estimated at a modest £ 3 million ($ A6.1 million) at the time of her death.
The surprise amount made many people wonder what happened to the rest of the singer’s fortune.
After he became known, Winehouse was included in the rich list of Sunday Times in 2008, with a profit of £ 10 million ($ A20.4 million). By the following year, however, her assets had fallen by half.

A friend who was connected to the musician’s management company told the Daily mail She spent it on drugs, to men and ‘friends’ who said they needed her.
“Before Amy died, the money was hunted from her left, right and in the middle,” she told the outlet.
“It was as if I purchased money from a baby when it came to Amy – she couldn’t stop giving away.”
When Winehouse used drugs – which she stopped around 2008 – she spent £ 1,000 ($ A2,000) a day on heroin and cocaine.
According to reports in the media, a huge part of the income from the Grammy winner was also to pay off taxes and other costs.
The Winehouse Real Estate Portfolio included a house in Camden, London, worth around £ 2.7 million ($ A5.5 million), and a country house in Hertfordshire that was sold for around £ 1.9 million ($ A3.8 million) after her death.

Who inherited the fortune of Amy Winehouse?
The Winehouse estate was inherited by her parents, Mitch and Janis. The inheritance included its characteristics.
Since the death of the singer it is assumed that the value of her legacy has grown considerably from song roses.
Winehouse’s musical legacy still earns more than £ 1 million ($ A2 million) per year for her family, Sun Reports.
Her posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, released in 2011, was one of her many successful commercial contributions.
The documentary Amy 2015 also renewed interest in her music, increasing the income of her estate.
According to The Sun, the music of Winehouse still makes so many royalties that her parents have three companies that handle income from her recording career and various spin-off projects.
The first called Openville Ltd who acts in ‘artistic creation’ shows that it has almost a million in the bank.
A second company called MW Records LTD of which Mitch is the only director to be founded in September 2012 to handle “Support Activities to Poneing Arts”.
A third company, Portcrown Ltd is for “artistic creation”. Janis and Mitch were some directors of the company founded in March 2017.

The couple was also involved in managing Winehouse’s inheritance, including the establishment of the Amy Winehouse Foundation after her death in 2011.
The foundation wants to support young people who are struggling with addiction and substance abuse through various initiatives, including the Resilience program, which is active in schools in the United Kingdom on substance abuse, and Amy’s Place, a recovery house for young women overcome addiction.
The foundation also supports music therapy projects and offers subsidies to initiatives from youth clubs and counseling services to sports and art programs.
Because of these continuous efforts, Amy’s parents continue to supervise her posthumous income, where he not only retains Amy’s legacy in the process, but also resting others with the tools and means to avoid the struggles she had before her death.
In the meantime, a charity in the name of Amy has trained school children about the dangers of substance abuse and set up a refuge for a maximum of 16 women at a time to escape from cycles of addiction and domestic violence.
Mitch, who helps running the base, remains extremely proud of Amy’s legacy.
He said to The Sun in 2021: “We get a final word about every song and commercial deal – the last thing we want is that Amy’s music becomes the soundtrack for a cigarette advertisement somewhere.”

Winehouse bought the North -London house for £ 1.8 million ($ A3.6 million) a year before her death. It was the building where she was found dead.
After the death of the music star, her parents set up the charity institution Amy Winehouse Foundation and this was located in the home.
The house became a sanctuary for the grieving fans of the singer and covered the street with flowers and messages.
The four -storey house was eventually sold for just under £ 2 million ($ A4 million).
