Laguna Golf Phuket, a recent host of the Asian Tour and a cornerstone of premium golf in the region, has made a strategic investment in Bernhard and Company’s industry-leading business Express Dual and Anglemaster sharpening systems.
The installation, delivered in collaboration with The regional distributor of Bernhard and Company, Solutions for sports turfrepresents a significant step forward in the club’s long-term agronomy strategy and underlines its ambition to set new benchmarks in course conditioning.
The initiative is part of a renewed agronomy vision led by Jhomer Darlito Q. Patalot JrDirector of Agronomy at Laguna Golf Phuket.
Under his leadership, emphasis has been placed on optimizing mowing performance, improving equipment reliability and extending the operational life of the club’s machinery.
With responsibility for maintaining approximately 15 mowing units along the coursePatalot and his team require precision, consistency and efficiency in every phase of turf maintenance.
By integrating Bernhard and Company’s Express Dual and Anglemaster systems into its maintenance operations, Laguna Golf Phuket gains the ability to achieve consistently sharper cutting unitsthat contribute directly to it improved grass quality and plant healthand general playing performance.

12 members of Laguna Golf Phuket’s greenkeeping and mechanics team participated in the training program led by Mirai Takahashi, Business Development Manager for Japan.
The sessions focused on best practices in sharpeningsystem operation, and maintenance workflowsgiving the team the technical knowledge needed to maximize the value of the new equipment.
