Certification courses are NGPF’s most in -depth professional development format for topics such as investing, banking and budgeting, taxes and more. Each course combines nine hours of sessions aimed at a core area for personal financial content with a one -hour final exam. These courses are 100% free And most states that follow professional development accept them for Staatsceus.

A: NGPF currently offers 12 certification courses: advanced investing, banking and budgeting, behavioral economy, career, credit, consumer skills, cryptocurrency, insurance, investing, paying for college, psychology of money and taxes.

Question: How long do I have to complete the course?
A: Each course is part of a cohort that is 3 or 5 weeks long. Cohort dates are stated on the web page of the NGPF certification course.

A: NGPF certification courses are designed to deepen your content knowledge. They are a great way to increase your trust in a specific area, to polish content and earn digital badges that you can present in your e -mail signature. In addition, most states that follow professional development accept NGPF certification courses for permanent education units (CEUS).
Question: What is an NGPF Distinguished Educator?
A: The NGPF Distinguished Educator Award goes to teachers who pass six or more NGPF certification courses. Every leading educator receives a physical plaque, a digital badge and recognition on the NGPF website for demonstrating dedication to their profession as a personal financial educator. This is a Lifetime Award that you can work on several NGPF academic years.
