West Ham -Midfender was released from betting breaches

West Ham United has confirmed that Lucas Paqueta has been released from all misconduct costs with regard to alleged breaches of gamble.

The football club accused Paqueta with four counts of Spot-fixing in May last year, claiming that the midfielder had deliberately booked to influence the gambling markets so that friends and family members could benefit.

The Brazilian was confronted with a long ban if it was found guilty, but has now been released from all charges of the independent regulatory committee.

“Since the first day of this study, I have maintained my innocence against these extremely serious accusations. I can’t say anything at the moment, but I would like to express how grateful I am for God and how enthusiastic I am to return to playing with a smile on my face.
