WEK 1 Fantasy Football -use report
Javonte Williams leads the cowboys
After struggling for the Broncos in 2024, Javonte Williams signed with the cowboys on a modest contract to be their starter, because they continue to invest very little in the declining position. Williams was an interesting player because he was expected to lead the Achterveld in opportunities, but expected little to do with them. In week 1 that is essentially what happened. Williams received 18 of the 23 running opportunities while playing 77% of the snaps and was only 64 meters. But it was possible to fall into the end zone twice, giving him a valuable fantasy day.
That will be the question every week. Can he get to the end zone? Because otherwise his version was not inspiring. The good news for him, and everyone who has prepared him is that the cowboys are a good attack and will often be in scoring position. Save a little for Javonte Williams.
The role of Isiah Pacheco is questioning
This season outside the season was the question with Isiah Pacheco if he was back in full health after a broken fibula to start 2024 and look like a shell of his former himself as soon as he returned. When he was healthy, Pacheco ordered the lion’s share of the Achterveld of Kansas City. As the summer progressed, all the signs that Pacheco had no setbacks. He climbed on drafts with the expectation that he had the Achterveld possessed again. In his first match of 2025, however, Pacheco disappointed. He only played 48% of the attacking snaps and had the same number of chances, 10, as Kareem Hunt.
There was no reporting of setbacks before or during the game, so we must ask ourselves whether this is exactly how the chiefs want to work. If so, Isiah Pacheco becomes one of the worst picks you could have made. We will have to check this Achterveld in week 2.
Tyler Warren makes a statement
The Colts are looking for a Pass-Catch tight end that they can keep on the field for years. After selecting very thought of Tyler Warren in the first round of the NFL concept, the drumbeat of the Colts was non -stop. They knew for sure that they got their husbands and that he would be a large part of the attack. This was a drumbeat that held up when Warren started his NFL career and the Colts led in goals and receptions. Warren ended his day with nine goals and caught seven for 76 Yards, giving him 14.6 PPR points. This gave him a target of 31% in the day, an absurd number for a tight end.
Perhaps even more important, it was clear that the Colts wanted to involve him in the past. During the first ride of the Colts, Tyler Warren was the target of the six attempts by Daniel Jones three times. With this kind of start of the season, you can be confident that Warren is a must-starend end as long as Jones is the Quarterback. If Anthony Richardson ever starts, he is still worth starting; We just don’t know how efficient he will be until we see it.
Omarion Hampton can be anything
The first game of Omarion Hampton in the NFL is a Rorschach test. You can find something you want. On the one hand, Hampton had 52 of the available 65 attacking snaps, a large number for each run. Moreover, he was good for 17 of the 19 -Running Opportunities. On the other hand, he only won 61 meters and did not score a touchdown. On the day, Hampton only scored 8.1 PPR points. The hope when Hampton was set up was that he would take over the Achterveld. With the eye injury of Najee Harris, his timeline for this was accelerated until the first week. That’s great news!
But the Chargers and Omarion Hampton had difficulty running effectively against a top -hazing defense in the chiefs. He also looks at Hampton and sometimes runs a little too upright, which makes it harder for him to break tackles. I will chase the volume here and believe that the Rookie will improve during the season. Do not panic, and if you panic that Hampton has a panic, is attacking.
Make it worth
Few players have had as much steam behind their name as Emeka Egbuka since he became a member of the Buccaneers. Egbuka entered the NFL as a pro-ready prospect that can play from the inside and out. With the injury of Chris Godwin and the age of Mike Evans, there was already reason to believe that Egbuka could produce like a rookie. The slow recovery of Godwin, in combination with the pre -season injury of Jalen McMillan, meant that Egubka was almost guaranteed a large part of the plans of the Buccaneers in week 1, and that is exactly what happened. Egubka led the Buccaneers in routes and became second in the team in Doelen with six. He caught four of those goals for 67 yards and two, tel two, touchdowns on his way to 22.7 PPR points.
There is a real possibility EMEKA EGBUKA is the WR1 of the Buccaneers earlier instead of later. They lyrical about him since the moment he was drawn up, we do not know when Godwin will be back or how he will perform when he returns, and Evans is approaching the end of his career. Egubka is the future and the present.

Browns run back committee
With two new rookies and a reliable veteran who was already in the city, the Backfield of the Browns was one to view the season. Many expected Jerome Ford to play a considerable role, at least to start the season because of his history with the team. Dylan Sampson, however, had other ideas. Ford actually played more Snaps with 52% to Sampson’s 45%, but Sampson led the Achterveld in opportunities. Sampson has a total of 20 chances on the day, including eight goals, while Ford only collected seven. However, it is worth noting that Ford 11 of the 16 available snaps played in third place. Interesting is that Rahheim Sanders also came into the mix when the short-yardage back from the browns, earns three Carry’s and scored a goal line Touchdown.
On Saturday, Quinshon Judkins signed his Rookie contract and was able to play in week 2, making it messy. Judkin’s projects are the early Down Grinder and Short-Yardage back from Cleveland, which destroys every role for Rahiem Sanders. Dylan Sampson is clearly a weapon for them in the passing game, but if Jerome Ford continues to play the third downs, this will be a three -headed monster. Keep viewing this Achterveld. Hopefully Sampson can take third downs from Ford and clean it up.
Kaleb Johnson no shows
After drawing up Kaleb Johnson, the buyer of the stalkers would not close his mouth about how much a “volume back” he was. If week 1 was an indication, they lied or not Johnson who they thought he was. In his first game, Johnson only played two snaps. Instead, the Achterveld was led by Kenneth Gainwell and played 52% of the snaps, while Jaylen Warren had 46%. Warren had the most chances with 13 in total, although he only saw two goals. Gainwell was the next with a total of 11 chances, including four goals while he operated as the third-down of the Steelers, except one of those downs. Johnson had one measly transport on the day. This version is not a total kill -shot for Johnson, but it is not far away.
You can still save Kaleb Johnson on your couch when you have prepared it, just know that you might not get anything from him. However, this makes Jaylen Warren intriguing. He treated the inside of the five-yard line work, which means that he has the most touchdown-own capacity of the couple. Kenneth Gainwell is going to get some opportunities, but to be honest, he is just not talented enough to really matter.
Geno Smith in a new violation
Proving how much the Raiders would pass and how fast the attack would be, a big discussion this season was out of season with the new coaching staff. As we know, fast and pass-heavy violations breed fantasy points. The hope was that Chip Kelly would continue his trend from the moment he was in the NFL earlier, when his attack fitted that fungus perfectly, instead of his time with Ohio State, in which the run was the focus. We may have our answer in week 1. In a game where the Raiders led most of these, they played 62 in total while they lost the time of ownership and 61.3% of the time. In even better game environments, the Raiders can have even more passage attempts.
If the Raiders keep running their attack in this way, Geno Smith could be a streaming Quarterback Week and Week out while he takes his teammates with him. We have seen Smith before in a QB1 season; This is perhaps the right environment for him to do it again.
Breece Hall reminds everyone
The conversation of Jets’ Kamp in the entire season was about how they love all their running and expect them to use them all, game in and game -out. Braelon Allen mainly received a serious buzz like the young second -year -olds. In the meantime, Breece Hall began to fall down while people were worried about his workload, even though it was one of the best in the NFL when he is healthy. Although the backfield of the jets was a bit more a committee than it has been, it didn’t do much for Hall. Hall played 37 for Snaps, all had 20 and Isaiah Davis had eight. Hall got the goal line and third downs were split. The big difference came in opportunities, where Hall 21 had, easily Allen’s Six and Davis’ two. Hall was also great in his chances, a total of 145 meters on the way to 16.5 PPR points.
The split back field is perhaps a good thing for Breece Hall, so that he remains fresher for his chances. I expect things to continue this way. Less snaps than we are used to for Hall, but the same number of opportunities he has always earned. If you have prepared Hall, you should be very happy.
Harold Fannin Jr. has an impact
Harold Fannin Jr. was perhaps the most productive tight end in the history of the University Football. But because he did it while playing for a small school in Bowling Green, and he was a bit small while he was a little less athletic than we wanted, Fannin was not selected until the third round of the NFL design. Landing on the browns, who already have an established tight end in David Njoku, meant that goals are hard to find for Fannin. Fortunately for him, the browns’ depth card at a broad receiver is weak behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. Fannin is essentially a large wide receiver anyway. So because the browns do not have a final -wide recipient to talk about, it would be logical that Fannin could take that position.
In his first game, Fannin led the browns in goals with nine, where they caught seven for 63 Yards, giving him 13.3 PPR points on the day. In the meantime, Njoku remained behind him with six goals for three receptions and 37 yards. Even with Njoku with 85.4% of the routes, Fannin itself ran 66.7%, which showed that they were not fighting for Snaps. Fannin is now square on the flow of tight end radar.
