- Rookies are at the forefront of the Giants’ turnaround: Quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo led the charge for a revitalized New York offense.
- AJ Brown gets more involved, but success doesn’t follow: Brown turned nine targets into 80 receiving yards, but the Eagles were still unable to keep up with the Giants’ relentless attack.

The New York Giants improved to 2-4 on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, beating the Philadelphia Eagles 34-17.
Summary of the game

According to the PFF score with noise reduction, it wasn’t quite the blow that the final score indicates. After all, the Eagles had a chance to cut the lead to three in the fourth quarter before Jalen Hurts’ backbreaking interception. But it was certainly a dominant performance for the Giants, who took advantage of their excellent performance on third down, moving the ball at a very fast pace and getting into the red zone every time they got there.

Submit summary
Both passing offenses were fairly efficient through the air, but only the Giants were able to avoid major negatives: too many sacks and turnovers. Jaxson Dart also added a lot of value on the scramble, including a touchdown in the red zone.

Summary received
With Malik Nabers sidelined, the Giants split the ball between Wan’Dale Robinson and Lil’Jordan Humphrey. Humphrey acquired a much larger share of the air yards and appears to have the potential to leave at any time.

The good news for the Eagles is that they got AJ Brown more involved. Tight end Dallas Goedert also had an excellent night, racking up 110 yards on 11 targets.

Hasty summary
The Giants’ offensive line dominated in the trenches, leading to a much more efficient run game than the Philadelphia Eagles.
