The matchup. Edge: Eagles.
Football is back! It has been a long summer, but the NFL season 2025 is finally here. We will post our choices every Tuesday as usual.
We had a loss season last year, but we did very well on week 8. I realized that I fell into a number of stupid falls, so I made the right adjustments and I went 79-63 between weeks 8 and 17. I do an audit of my choices during the summer and discovered other things that could really help us this year. I expect a huge season of 2025.
Even if you have not visited the site for a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after almost two decades we finally redesigned our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what happened during the NFL design of 2023. Our site crashed throughout the first day of the design, which was disastrous for our income flow because we earn more money during the design than at any other time. The site crashed because a row of code was contrary to the old format of the site, so we had to switch to this new look.
Because we have lost so much money during the design, I want to point out that you can really help the site by paying for its advertising -free version. It is $ 7.99 a month, but you get a superfste site without advertisements. My developer will also add new functions to paid subscribers, so look for that in the near future. We already have functions available for premium subscribers such as detailed injury reports. We also work on other things. If you do not want to pay, spread the word over the site via mouth -tone advertising. That would also be a great help!
In any case, I am looking forward to this season. I did a lot of research this summer to refine my handicap. We come from a great year, and I think this season could be even better!
Philadelphia -violation: We have to start with the attack of the Eagles, because there is the news about this game. Of course I refer to the Micah Parsons -trading, of course (look here for the NFL trade figures.) The cowboys already had some holes on their defense, and now they will miss Parsons, who really improved the unit last year when he played. When Parson’s action missed, the defense of Dallas was much worse.
With Parsons disappeared, the cowboys will not generate much pressure on Jalen Hurts. The reigning Super Bowl MVP can do what he wants in the bag. He will also run circles around the cowboys and their weak Linebacker corps, which will not exceed Demarvion quickly.
The biggest mismatch on this side of the ball is the front of Philadelphia compared to the weak line of defense of Dallas. The cowboys struggled against the run last year, while the Eagles run the ball better than every team in the NFL. Hurts and Saquon Barkley will eat large chunks on the floor.
Dallas -attack: The cowboys will not be able to stop the Eagles, so their only chance to be competitive in this game is to keep pace with them on the scoreboard. I imagine that some people will believe that this is possible, because Dallas has large fantasy names, such as Roof Prescott, Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens, but I don’t believe this is true.
The cowboys have two major problems on this side of the ball, especially with regard to this matchup. The first is that their attacking line is mediocre. They have some injuries in the front and they were not very good in that area. The Eagles have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL, so they can easily win on this side of the ball in the trenches.
The second problem is that the cowboys have a one -dimensional attack. They have absolutely no running game to talk about, which means that they will be easy to defend. Elite defenses can devour one-dimensional offenses, so Philadelphia will not have Dallas done.
TO SUMMARIZE: There is an enormous inequality between the Eagles and the cowboys. Philadelphia is an elite team, arranged in group A of the NFL Power Rankings, while Dallas is a group D team. This spread must be around -10, so I like the Eagles to cover.
The only thing that worries me about this spread is because it is to the north of seven, we are open to a lid back door. With the chiefs on the horizon next week, the Eagles can get their foot off the gas in the second half, allowing Dallas to sneak in a touchdown in the last minutes. On the other hand, the Eagles absolutely hate the cowboys, so they can decide to get in the throat of their arch rival.
I’m going to bet a few units on the Eagles. I think it is best to do with them this week is to grab them to -1.5. We have to find a different leg for this teaser, which I will do in the coming days.
Locked: This distribution has moved to -8 in most sports books. It even jumped to -8.5 -105 at Draftkings. Fanduel still has -7.5 -110 available, so let’s lock it now. Note that $ 25 of this bet will be increased 50 percent, which is a promo that is available on Fanduel. Another will be a no-weat for $ 10.
